A 64-year-old Leven man has denied allegations he force-fed a young boy faeces and urine.
At Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Tuesday, William Hunter, of Rosemount Grove, pleaded not guilty to committing the offences over a seven-year period when the boy was aged between seven and 14.
Hunter denied that, on various occasions between October 1983 and January 1990, at an address in Burntisland, he assaulted a boy by removing his lower clothing, repeatedly struck him on the body with a slipper, a wooden cane and a belt, repeatedly punched and kicked him on the head and body and forced him to eat faeces and drink urine, all to his injury.
