Bill Davidson has retired after 40 years with Strathmore Farming Co at Glamis. To mark the occasion he was presented with a McIntosh Patrick print of Glamis village by the Earl of Strathmore. Mr Davidson worked for the first 26 years at Bridgend and then Mains of Glamis as a tractorman before joining the pig unit at Kinalty Haughs. Latterly he was responsible for the pig finishing enterprise. Mr Davidson and his wife Marjory live at East Thornton on the estate and Mrs Davidson continues to work at Glamis Castle.
