Progress made on Oakbank Road repairs

Significant road repairs are taking place in Perth’s Oakbank Road, in response to demands from residents.

Councillor Willie Wilson said: “Residents have been calling for these repairs to be made for some time and so it is great to see progress being made.

“The patching will improve road safety and make for more comfortable journeys on what is a major bus route heavily used by local traffic.

“While the works will cause some temporary disruption, it needs to be done, and I am sure residents are happy to see this moving forward.”

The work will be done before school resumes.
