An inmate who absconded while on leave from Castle Huntly open prison has been traced by police. Stewart Rattray was in the Inverness area during a period of unescorted leave when he went missing last Tuesday. Officers traced the 34-year-old in the city over the weekend. A statement from Police Scotland read: “Police Scotland can confirm that absconder Stewart Rattray was traced in Inverness on Saturday, August 9. “Thank you to everyone for their assistance with police enquiries.”
