A teenager needed medical attention after being injured on Saturday night as she crossed the road outside a Dundee bar.
The 18-year-old was crossing the road near Braes on Perth Road when she walked between two parked cars. As she stepped out she was hit by a Skoda Fabia which was driving towards the city centre.
The woman was described by police as having sustained “minor cuts and bruises” in several areas of her body, however the injuries were not believed to be serious.
Emergency services attended the scene just before 8pm, and an ambulance had taken the woman to Ninewells Hospital around 30 minutes later.
The Scottish Ambulance Service stated: “The ambulance was on the scene at 7.50pm, and gave some treatment on the scene before transporting her to Ninewells Hospital at 8.20pm.”
A member of staff at a nearby bar, who wished to remain unnamed, said: “I’ve never seen anyone knocked down before and I’ve worked on this street for a while at a few different bars. I hope she’s OK.”
