Ambitious Perthshire companies are being given access to expert advice to help their business grow.
The second Perth and Kinross Business and Enterprise Month has kicked off with a programme of free events to help firms along the path to success.
A business excellence event with keynote speeches from VisitScotland chairman Mike Cantlay, Iain Hutchison of Perth-based energy firm Merlin ERD and George Taylor of crisp manufacturer Mackie’s at Taypack will be held at Perth Concert Hall on Thursday.
The month-long programme also includes a series of workshops and events on topics from becoming an employer to succession planning, intellectual property protection and paths to exporting.
There is backing from Perth and Kinross Council, Enterprise North East Trust, the Federation of Small Businesses, Business Gateway, Perth College Centre for Enterprise, and Perthshire Chamber of Commerce whose business Star Awards are on November 21. The main event sponsor is Fairways.
