Sold-out Caird Hall ready to welcome Nicola Sturgeon tour to Dundee
ByKieran Andrews
Nicola Sturgeon will promise to be “the most accessible First Minister ever” when she addresses a packed out Caird Hall tonight in Dundee.
The SNP leader in waiting, and as a result the next in line for Scotland’s top political job, will unveil a series of initiatives to the sold out venue as part of a question-and-answer tour.
Ms Sturgeon is delivering a keynote speech at each of the events, setting out her vision for the way forward for the SNP and for Scotland, and taking questions from the audience.
She will say: “For too long the conversation between politicians and the public has been reduced to 30-second soundbites and stage-managed public appearances.
“The referendum campaign changed all that, bringing citizens and politicians closer together than at any previous time in our nation’s history.”
Look out for full Courier coverage of Ms Sturgeon’s visit online and in Saturday’s paper.
