Markinch man fined for ‘sick’ taunt on Allan Bryant Facebook page

A Glenrothes father has hit out at internet “trolls” who have again targeted a Facebook page set up to find his missing son.
Allan Bryant Snr described online abusers as “not human” after a second man was convicted this week of sending abusive online messages to the family, who have been searching for their son, Allan Jnr, since November of last year.
David Perrie, 23, of Markinch, was fined £500 at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Tuesday after posting images of a figure wearing a mask depicting the missing 24-year-old.
The picture featured a caption claiming “I’ve found him, he’s on a mad one”.
Speaking to The Courier, Mr Bryant said: “When I saw it I thought it was sick. It’s all premeditated and these people must be really shallow.”
It is the second such incident to have reached the courts after another man, Stewart McInroy, was sent to prison in August for claiming that he had tortured and killed Allan Jnr.
