Rreshuffle reflects optimism at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors
ByThe Courier Reporter
Shepherd Chartered Surveyors revealed a major reshuffle of its management team as it looks to take advantage of an improving property market.
The firm said it had seen a “significant rise” in activity levels throughout 2014 and expected further improvement in the commercial and residential property sectors in the year ahead.
Commercial partner Steve Barnett and residential partner Darren Lewis have both been elevated to the management board, while a further three associates have been made up to partner level and a number of other changes have also been implemented.
Senior partner George Brewster said: “With a distinct confidence returning to the property market in 2014 we are optimistic about market trends for the next few years and, as such, have invested in a series of across-the-board promotions to ensure that we continue to provide our many clients throughout Scotland with a consistent, professional property service.”
The changes follow the recent merger of Shepherd’s commercial building consultancy business with Keynorth UK to consolidate its building consultancy division as one of the largest in Scotland.
