An Angus teenager who sent a flurry of text messages to three support workers asking them to have sex with him has appeared at Forfar Sheriff Court.
Danny Jake Verrall, of York Terrace, Montrose, admitted making sexual remarks contrary to Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2007.
The 18-year-old admitted that on Wednesday at his home address he repeatedly sent text messages, repeatedly made sexual remarks, asked the women to engage in sex and made abusive remarks.
Depute fiscal Jill Drummond told the court that Verrall sent more than 30 text messages in a two-hour period.
She said: “One of the women saw the accused in a car park that afternoon. She told him that she was disappointed in him and that she was his support worker and nothing more.”
The other two women did not respond to the messages but reported them to their manager, who called police.
Sheriff Gregor Murray deferred sentence until Thursday but placed Verrall on the sex offenders register with immediate effect.
A condition of bail is that Verrall does not contact any of the three women.
