St Johnstone striker Brian Graham offered two-game ban for diving

St Johnstone’s on loan striker Brian Graham has been offered a two-match ban by the SFA after allegations that he dived during the 1-0 win over Inverness on Saturday.
Graham went down under a challenge from Caley keeper Dean Brill to win what turned out to be the decisive penalty kick at McDiarmid Park, but the SFA’s compliance officer has decided to take action in retrospect.
Graham has been charged under Disciplinary Rule 201 which states: “No player shall cause a match official to make an incorrect decisionby an act of simulation which results in that player’s team being awarded a penalty kick.”
The striker has been offered a two-game suspension which, if accepted, would see him miss the club’s next two matches against Dundee United and Aberdeen, although Graham is unable to participate in Saturday’s game against parent club United in any case.
Saints are said to be considering their position and have until 3pm tomorrow to respond to the SFA on the charge.
