Firefighters rushed to Monifieth Golf Club on Saturday afternoon after staff were unable to control a blaze in the kitchen.
Two engines from Balmossie attended the fire, caused by a cooking incident, just after 1pm.
Four personnel in breathing apparatus tackled the blaze.
Thermal imaging cameras were used to ensure that no fire spread had occurred in the extractor system immediately above the cooker, or in the steward’s flat immediately above the kitchen.
Scottish Fire and Rescue manager Scott Bricknal said: “Staff successfully evacuated the premises, all patrons were accounted for and no one was injured.
“Despite the incident occurring within golf club premises, a free home fire safety visit was carried out to ensure that adequate safety measures and a smoke alarm was fitted in the residential dwelling attached to the club.”
Mr Bricknal urged officials of similar clubs with attached homes to contact their fire station on 0800 0731 999 to arrange a free home fire safety visit.
