Courier readers may hold the key to reuniting a group of old friends.
Jocelyn King, who now lives in France, is hoping to make contact with Eddie Valentine, who she believes is staying with his daughter in Perth over the holiday period.
In the mid 1970s and early 80s, Mrs King lived in Doha, Qatar, where her husband worked in the oil industry
Other friends whose husbands worked there were Maire Roberts, who now lives on the south coast of England, and the late Pat Valentine.
“Each year, Pat’s husband, Eddie, sends us a card but with no address of his own on it,” said Mrs King.
“This year the card stated that he was spending Christmas with his daughter, Katy, in Perth, Scotland.
“I have now moved to France with my husband but Eddie continues to send cards to my old UK address and these are sent on to me.”
On behalf of Maire and herself Mrs King is asking for an address for Eddie.
