Year’s detention for pair who kicked woman until she was unconscious

Two women who kicked another woman unconscious have been given given custodial sentences.
Keighly Ryan (21), of City Road, Brechin, and Vikki Wild (18), of Great Michael Road, Arbroath, had admitted assaulting a woman at a street in Arbroath on March 4.
They further admitted pulling her from her flat by her hair, repeatedly punching her face, pulling her to the ground by the hair and repeatedly kicking her on the head and body, rendering her unconscious, all to her injury.
On Tuesday at Arbroath Sheriff Court, Sheriff Derek Pyle sentenced both Ryan and Wild to 12 months’ detention.
