The accident happened when two cars collided and one struck the box, on Old Glamis Road near the junction with Kingsway. The accident, which happened shortly after 11.30am, left bare wires exposed. No one was injured and only minor delays were caused. Scottish & Southern Energy engineers were called out to isolate and repair the damaged box.
