Dundee City Council’s website failing to hit all the buttons

Amid the many and varied attractions of the internet, it appears Dundee City Council’s website is losing ground.
A survey of 800 city residents presented to councillors this week showed only 22% had used the website at dundeecity.gov.uk. This is the equal lowest figure in the five years the question has been asked and well down on the high point of 32% recorded in 2007.
Liberal Democrat councillor Fraser Macpherson asked if anything was being done to remedy this.
Chief executive David Dorward said officers were trying to find out the reasons for the decline, while stating the survey did note high satisfaction among those who had visited the site.
