The Borders man (62) was being treated at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary on Sunday night. He was involved in a collision during the Fife Classic Scramble at Kirkness Farm, near Ballingry. The other rider (61), also from the Borders, was taken to Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline. That man’s injuries were described as minor. Paramedics were called to the off-road track, which was hosting an event for the Scottish Classic Racing Motorcycle Club, at 3.40pm.
