The bodies of two men have been discovered in a Fife town, sparking a major police operation.
The bodies of the two men were found in a property in the Touch area of Dunfermline on Sunday night.
Detective Inspector David McLaren, who is leading the investigation, said, “We are in the very early stages of an investigation and at this time we are treating the death of these two men as unexplained.
“Clearly there will be an increased police presence in the Touch area while we carry out further inquiries.”
DI McLaren added, “The identify of the men will not be released until next of kin have been informed.”
