Long-serving Lochee GP Dr Kenneth Hogg has died at the age of 80.
He worked from The Surgery in Ancrum Road for 32 years until his retirement in 1990, for much of that time with his wife, Dr Margaret Watson.
Dr Hogg also worked in accident and emergency at Dundee Royal Infirmary for 27 years.
His daughter Carolyn said her father was well regarded in the profession for the service he gave to patients and training he gave to young GPs at his practice and to medical students at DRI.
”They, along with patients from the surgery and A&E, still express their gratitude and admiration,” she said.
In addition to his wife and Carolyn, he is survived by daughters Gillian and Jennifer, son John, 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
