Both made a brief appearance during a private hearing at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday. Corrie Inglis (17) and Kegan Inglis, who turned 16 just a week ago, deny the charge. Both live at Broomfield in Methil. They face a petition alleging that they attempted to murder a 28-year-old man at the weekend by stabbing him. Neither made any plea or declaration during their court appearance. They were both fully committed and remanded in custody pending further inquiries.
