Dundee teacher taken to hospital after chemicals spill

A Dundee teacher was taken to hospital after a science experiment accident.
It is understood Stuart Arnott, from St John’s High School, was not injured in the incident, which happened on Monday. He went to Ninewells Hospital as a precaution after being exposed to spilled chemicals.
The type of chemicals involved is not known.
A city council spokesman said: ”Following a controlled experiment in a science lab, there was a slight spillage of chemicals. Safety procedures were followed. We are now investigating the circumstances.”
None of the pupils present were affected.
