Grand National bet could see Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance quids in

Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance will be watching the outcome of the Grand National with more than a little interest.
Perthshire North Parliamentary candidate Murdo Fraser visited Perth betting shop William Hill to learn more about their business and the responsible gambling measures in the branch.
While there Mr Fraser placed a £50 charity bet on Standing Ovation which is running in the Grand National and, if victorious, could see him win £3,300 for Scone-based SCAA.
Even if Standing Ovation doesn’t come up trumps William Hill will donate £50 the charity regardless.
“It was great to visit William Hill in Perth today to learn more about their contribution to the local economy and to see first hand the different types of responsible gambling measures on offer in branch,” he said.
“Having a flutter is one of the Great British past times but it is important that you do so in a responsible manner and it is good to see William Hill support their customers in this regard.”
He said he would keep his fingers crossed on Saturday.
