Water levels in Perth city centre have reduced dramatically since flooding hit on Tuesday morning.
Fire crews worked with engineers to clear the Marshall Place area, where several people were evacuated from their homes.
Floodwater was pumped out of properties and sprayed on to the nearby South Inch, which had been turned into a loch by torrential downpours.
A major clear-up operation is now under way.

Residents said the flooding had wiped out carpets and furniture in basement properties, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
Firefighters using inflatable boats moved in to help residents along the route.
Sandbags were placed at entrances as worried householders battled to stem the rising tide which reached the heights of some perimeter walls.
Queen’s Bridge remained closed to traffic after being shut on Monday night as the Tay rose to dangerous levels. However, it was reopened at 12.30pm.
In a new update SEPA says the flood threat will remain in place for most of the week, with Wednesday expected to be slightly drier before another very wet day on Thursday. For full weather coverage, see Wednesday’s Courier or try our digital edition
