Six-year-old Tess refused to return to shore and ended up swimming half a mile out to sea before being picked up. The Queensferry RNLI lifeboat crew was launched at 1.26pm on Wednesday to collect the errant hound from the Forth. A spokesman said: “She was continuing to swim out to sea and was very cold and tired. “She was taken on board the lifeboat, wrapped in a blanket and then landed back to Blackness to the care of her owner.” Do you know Tess’s owner?
