AMWF stepping up to Fat Sam’s for Christmas concert in Dundee

Dundee alt-folk favourites AMWF have announced they are to play a special home town Christmas show.

The band, who have sold out the near 400-capacity Gardyne Theatre six times over the past two years, are stepping up to play the 1,000-capacity Fat Sam’s Live! on Saturday December 20.

Stevie Anderson, Gavin McGinty, Dave Webster and Billy Fisher, along with new bass player Tom Barbour, are also launching the live DVD from their last appearance at the Gardyne on the night.

Tickets for the show go on sale on Wednesday at £10 plus booking fee from Clark’s on Lindsay Street, Groucho’s and www.eventbrite.co.uk.

The band are also playing a free live show in South Street, St Andrews, to celebrate St Andrew’s Day on Sunday afternoon, along with Eddi Reader.
