A Dundee architecture firm is in the running for two national awards.
Leadingham Jameson Rogers and Hynd has been nominated for a gong at this year’s RIBA Awards, which are designed to recognise the nation’s most impressive examples of architecture.
The company has been shortlisted for its Zinc House project.
Designed in partnership with Dundee University’s Professor Graeme Hutton, the development includes large areas of glazing which allow views as far as St Andrews.
The project is the second Dundee development to be nominated, after Verdant Works’ High Mill was shortlisted last week.
Zinc House has also been shortlisted in the residential category of this years’ Scottish Design Awards.
Bob Hynd from the group said: “This is huge for us and its quite an accolade for the city of Dundee as well.”
