The work of more than 200 artists is on show at Dunkeld Cathedral Art Exhibition, which is celebrating 40 years of success.
The paintings, prints and sculpture are on display at the Duchess Anne Hall in Dunkeld until September 2.
The exhibition is open every day for 10 weeks and raises money for the upkeep of the cathedral.
The summer show has regularly contributed more than £10,000 to cathedral funds.
This year two invited artists are among the 200 exhibiting Liz Myhill, whose work is inspired by the Hebrides where she grew up, and Peter McDermott, a landscape watercolourist on Skye.
At least 10,000 people are expected to visit the exhibition, which is open every day from 10am to 7pm except Sundays when it is open from 2pm to 7pm.
The exhibition is run entirely by volunteers and works of art are available to buy.
