An award-winning hairdressing salon in Perth has topped its previous success after being named the top stylist in Scotland.
The team from John Gillespie triumphed in the Scottish category at the recent grand final of the L’Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
They also beat off fierce competition from 28 other regional finalists to be placed third in the whole of the UK, after being judged by some of the top professionals in the hairdressing world, including Trevor Sorbie and Richard Ward.
Salon owner John Gillespie said, “This is massive for us and definitely the most important and prestigious national hairdressing award you can receive.”
John added, “It is almost unheard of for a salon in a place like Perth to do so well against salons from all the major cities in the UK.”
