Police said the accident at 7.49am, near the Scottish Deer Centre, appeared to be a head-on smash and that a third car had ploughed into the debris. One male driving a Peugeot 206 died at the scene. A woman, who was in a Peugeot 207, was rushed by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital with serious injuries. A third car was also caught up in the debris from the crash.
