Drivers using one of Dundee’s main arteries will be diverted early next month as the road is closed for resurfacing.
South Marketgait westbound between Trades Lane and Gellatly Street will be shut on Saturday May 10 and Sunday May 11 while work is also carried out creating a pedestrian crossing.
Traffic using the A92 South Marketgait heading west or to gain access to the Tay Road Bridge will be diverted via the inner ring road. Pedestrian access will be maintained on both days of the works.
The crossing and footpath connecting Gellatly Street and Commercial Street to South Victoria Dock Road will be opened on the Sunday evening.
