Nick Prettejohn appointed chairman of Scottish Widows Group
ByGraham Huband
Former Prudential UK and Europe chief executive Nick Prettejohn has been appointed chairman of Scottish Widows Group (SWG).
Mr Prettejohn, who was previously chief executive of the Lloyds of London insurance market, will also take up a non-executive director role on the board of SWG owner Lloyds Banking Group and will serve on the audit and risk committees.
The move allows Lord Blackwell to step down from the top job at Scottish Widows in order to focus on his wider role chairing Lloyds Banking Group.
He will step down as chairman of Scottish Widows on June 23.
