Two 12-year-old boys have been charged with 35 vandalism offences over a three-month period in Fife.
Cars and private houses were targeted throughout the Woodside and Auchmuty areas of Glenrothes, with the damage estimated to be in excess of £7,000.
A report detailing the offences has been submitted to the Reporter to the Children’s Panel.
Sergeant Graham Ross said: “Aside from the substantial financial loss suffered by the victims of these crimes, there was undoubtedly a significant impact on the wider community as they saw their neighbours’ property being randomly damaged.”
