Police are investigating after an elderly had her purse stolen while she was shopping in Perth. The 73-year-old woman was in the Card Factory in the St John’s Centre at about 12.30pm on Thursday when she felt two women bump into her. As she went to pay for items at the till, she noticed her handbag, which had previously been closed, was open and her purse was missing. The purse contained credit and debit cards as well as a two-figure sum of cash. Anyone who was in the area and who saw anything that could assist Police Scotland’s enquiries is being urged call 101, or speak to any officer.
