Crews remained on the scene until early this morning after a hallway fire in a Ravensby Road property. A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: “At 10.34pm we had a call to Ravensby Road. “It was a hallway fire on the ground floor of a mid-terraced, two-storey house. “Three appliances went out, one from Carnoustie and two from Balmossie. “They used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one jet. “The fire was under control at 11.42pm but two of the appliance didn’t leave until 2am, to make sure the building was safe.”
