The Crownand Procurator Fiscal’s office has confirmed that no further proceedings are to be taken against US evangelistAnthony Mianio, who was arrested and charged in Dundee city centre last year.
Mr Mianio, 50, from California and formerly of Perth, was charged with behaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear and alarm and repeatedly shouting and uttering homophobic remarks; and that the offence was aggravated by prejudices relating to sexual orientation, on January 8 2013, in Murraygate.
Mr Miano says he is considering suing Police Scotland over his arrest and incarceration.
