Three Dundee men have appeared in court after police swooped on a plane bound for Ibiza.
It is alleged the trio were involved in an alcohol-fuelled disturbance as they were due to leave Glasgow for the holiday island.
Lee Mulholland, 29, Jamie Bissett and Liam Michael Doogan, both aged 22, are alleged to have been drunk on board the plane at Glasgow Airport on July 30.
When they appeared in the dock from custody, all three denied the charge, raised as an Air Navigation Order contravention.
Mullholland faces three additional charges of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear and alarm to others by shouting, swearing and threatening police and refusing to leave the aircraft when requested to do so; resisting arrest on board the aircraft and struggling violently with police; and acting in a racially-aggravated manner intended to cause distress to PC Tom Marshall by repeatedly making abusive remarks.
Each accused was released on bail.
Mulholland, of Yarrow Terrace, Bissett, of Dryburgh Gardens and Doogan, of Foggyley Place, were set a trial date for January 5 next year with an intermediate diet on December 4.
