VIDEO: Thousands welcome Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo to Dundee

Thousands filed into Dundee City Square today to enjoy the sound and colour of the world-famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
The free ‘taster’ event showcased over 600 performers at the festival, featuring acts from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malta and the UK.
The line-up also included music from the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force Steel Orchestra, highland dancers, military bands, an Indian cultural troupe and the inimitable massed pipes and drums.Click here for a full photo galleryThe Tattoo’s mini tour has also visited Glasgow and Stirling as part of the Scottish Government’s 2014 Homecoming Scotland initiative.
The 65th Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo runs nightly at Edinburgh Castle until Saturday.
