Brechin boss Ray McKinnon was left fuming last week.
His team lost 4-2 to Ayr United in a game which saw a contentious penalty awarded against his side by referee Gavin Duncan, who also sent off City midfielder Greg Cameron.
However, the Glebe gaffer was keen to focus on the game today rather than what went on seven days ago.
He said: “I have got over the bitter disappointment of last week and we move on now.
“There will be games like that when things are out of your control and you just have to take it on the chin.
“Greg Cameron will serve a suspension now and he will be a big loss although he really should have been more sensible to ensure he remained on the field.
“However, we will now look to get back to winning ways at Forfar.
“Dick has amassed a really good, strong squad this season, including a couple of players we tried to get.
“So we know we face a stern test but derbies are always exciting affairs and it is a game we are looking forward to.”
As well as Cameron, Brechin will also be without the injured Callum Tapping. The former Hearts midfielder injured his knee a fortnight ago against Stirling Albion and was undergoing a scan to discover the full extent of the problem with the results expected early next week.
