A Perth sex attacker is still at large, police have said.
A young woman was assaulted on Scott Street, outside a Poundstretcher shop, in the early hours of Sunday September 28.
It is understood that she was making her way home alone after a night out with friends when she was attacked by the stranger.
Witnesses said she was “visibly distressed” as she walked to a taxi rank on nearby Mill Street and many people went to her aid.
Police have appealed for any revellers who may have been in the area at the time around 12.40am and may have seen something suspicious to get in touch.
A CCTV camera trained on a car park off Scott Street is expected to form part of the inquiry.
A force spokeswoman confirmed that inquiries were ongoing and no one had been charged.
The attacker is described as being of “eastern Mediterranean” appearance with short, black, curly hair and a beard.
He is about 6ft and is believed to be in his twenties.
He was wearing dark trousers, an open-neck white shirt and a dark blazer.
Anyone with information about the assault is urged to call the police’s non-emergency number, 101.
