A case alleging the aggressive use of a black pudding was deserted at Perth Sheriff Court due to problems with witnesses.
Bradley Davidson, of South William Street, Perth, was set to go on trial on a charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and throwing a black pudding across a room.
The incident is alleged to have taken place at a property on South William Street on May 13.
The 47-year-old was also alleged to have assaulted a 10-year-old girl on the same date by kicking her on the leg to her injury, and to have damaged a door by kicking it and causing a glass panel to smash.
