Montrose schoolboy suffers serious leg injury in accident with car

Police are appealing for witnesses after an accident in Montrose left a schoolboy seriously injured.

The 12-year-old Montrose Academy schoolboy suffered what was described as a “serious leg injury” when he was in collision with a blue car at 4pm on Wednesday in St Peter’s Place, at its junction with St Peter’s Road.

The boy required hospital treatment for the injury.
