There was drama outside a kiltmakers in Perth as falling masonry caused the closure of a town centre street.
Old High Street was cordoned off after the debris fell shortly after 5.30pm on Monday night.
Tayside Fire and Rescue were contacted and firefighters quickly arrived on the scene.
The street was closed as they carried out an external inspection of the property.
Firefighters discovered sections of loose mortar on flats above the premises of Perth City Kilts, but swiftly made it safe.
Local man Charlie Stevenson saw the incident and told The Courier, “The chunks looked quite big from what I could see and I think they could have caused some damage to anyone unfortunate enough to be hit by any.”
