Shop worker dies after collapsing at Arbroath Morrisons

A 32-year-old woman died on Monday after collapsing at the Morrisons store in Arbroath.

Marie Stewart, from Andrew Barton Street in Arbroath, worked as a cashier and was about to start work when she collapsed.Paramedics were called to the Hume Street premises shortly before 6.30am.The cause of her collapse is believed to be cardiac arrest.She was rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with a police escort but was pronounced dead a short time later.Police say there are no suspicious circumstances and her next of kin have been informed.
