Sporting festivals are taking place for primary six and seven youngsters at Eastern primary and Fintry primary ahead of the event next year. Children are participating in running, jumping and throwing activities. Yesterday there was a competition between Ballumbie, Fintry, Mill of Mains, St Luke’s and St Matthew’s and Longhaugh primaries. The festivals are organised jointly by Dundee City Council’s active sports team and the sports development section of Leisure and Culture Dundee.
