Late chance for charity to join Dundee Rotary Club’s city centre gala day
ByAndrew Argo
Dundee Rotary Club holds its Charity Gala Day in the city centre on Saturday and is offering a space to a good cause.
There will be 35 stalls in the city centre raising valuable funds for local charities, or publicising their services.
The event has raised over £30,000 to date and there are hopes it will break through the £40,000 barrier this year.
The programme of entertainment includes the Band of the Sea Cadets, singer-songwriter Charlotte Brimner, a Zumba dance demonstration by Curves and performances from the Thomson Leng Musical Society, the Dundee Junior Showtime Youth Theatre and the Angus Centre for Performing Arts.
A late call-off means there is a stall available, free of charge.
