ByThe Courier Reporter
Two cars involved in a collision at the Claypotts junction in Dundee caused rush-hour tailbacks on Thursday evening.
Police were called to the crash, which involved a white Fiat 500 and a red Chevrolet Kalos, around 6pm.
Officers said the two female drivers were checked over by a passing paramedic but neither was injured.
Five police units were in place around the junction to manage the busy rush-hour traffic.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: “One appliance from Kingsway attended.
“Initially there were reports of a car on fire but there was no fire when we arrived and the occupants of the car had already been removed from the vehicle.”
