A pitch inspection shortly after 2pm came to the conclusion that the pitch was too waterlogged for the match to go ahead. Perth keeper Alan Mannus had more reason than most to hope the match could be played. He was suspended for the Tayside derby and today’s decision means he misses Saturday’s League Cup semi-final instead.
