Girl airlifted to hospital after injuring neck in Morrison’s Academy hockey match

A teenage hockey player was rushed to hospital by air ambulance on Saturday after sustaining a neck injury.
The 14-year-old female Morrison’s Academy pupil was playing in a game against Dundee High School.
Emergency services were called to the Crieff site at 10.38am and Scotland’s charity air ambulance was requested to take the patient to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
The Courier understands the girl suffered soft tissue damage but was not seriously injured.
