Scottish Defence League rally A man has been charged after an 87-year-old woman was injured in a road accident in Dundee. The incident occurred shortly after 7.40am on Wednesday in Hospital Street, near to its junction with Strathmore Road. Police say the woman was struck by a car as she crossed the road. She was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment. Police later said a 57-year-old man had been charged with road traffic offences. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
