Polish man grew own cannabis because he was not satisfied with quality available here

A Polish man grew 21 cannabis plants in a Perth flat because he was unhappy with the quality of the drug available in the UK, a court has heard.
A solicitor acting for Sebastion Sukiannik claimed the 26-year-old found that the cannabis available in the UK was of inferior quality to what he had used in his home country and so set up his own production line.
Officers had discovered Sukiannik’s £4,000 haul of plants after becoming suspicious of the strong odour emanating from his flat on Perth’s High Street.
Sheriff Michael Fletcher handed Sukiannik, of Dunkeld Road, Perth, a community payback order of 250 hours of unpaid work and also ordered him to forfeit the growing equipment he used on the plants.
